Morning: Roofing Class - $25 per person

9:30 am - 11:30 am

Afternoon: Plumbing  Class - $25 per person

1:00 pm - 3:00 pm


Both Classes - $40 per person

Roofing:
Let's climb up on top of this house and talk all things roofing.  This class first looks at how to properly install the roof deck.  We then look at how shingles are installed to last for decades.  We wrap up the class looking at tile and metal roofs.  Join us as we look at how to ensure the rain stays out when we install proper underlayments, flashings, and shingles.
Plumbing:
Plumbing ground, Topout, and Trim – these are the 3 stages of plumbing we will look at in this class. We know that water comes into the house and we must get it safely out of the house. We will look at this plus much more.  Do you really understand what you are looking at when the plumber does his job?  After this class you will have the confidence to discuss the work with your plumber.

Dave Yelovich

With 40 years of residential construction under my belt I have held almost every position in the industry. I personally built over 1000 homes before shifting to the management side of things. From there I have touched around 35,000 more homes as they were being built. I hold certifications from various organizations. From the National Association of Home Builders I am a Certified Green Professional (CGP) and Certified Graduate Builder (CGB). I am a Certified Real Estate Instructor and I also hold a Combination Residential Inspector certification from the ICC.

I find nothing more rewarding than working in the home building industry. Our job is providing shelter for our fellow human beings. This is a noble endeavor.
