Membership Information
The Bryan College Station Home Builders Association (BCSHBA), now doing business as the Greater Brazos Valley Builders Association (GBVBA), has been proudly serving the community since its charter on August 20, 1967. Today, GBVBA has grown to represent over 300 members across three main membership categories: Builders, Remodelers, and Developers; Associates/ Suppliers, who provide products or services to the industry; and Affiliates, individuals within a member company who want access to Texas Association of Builders (TAB) and National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) benefits for a $100 fee. In 2015, GBVBA established the official Remodelers Council. This group is dedicated to educating consumers and fostering professionalism within the remodeling industry. Additional annual dues are required to join this council. By paying your annual dues, you gain membership in one of the largest trade associations in the country—NAHB—and become part of TAB. Both organizations advocate on your behalf to prevent harmful legislation and support the building industry at the state and national levels. Locally, GBVBA remains deeply engaged in addressing issues that impact our community and lending support to local causes, ensuring a positive impact on the Greater Brazos Valley area.
Builder
This membership is designed for companies or individuals actively building and contracting. As a Builder Member, you gain access to the Texas Association of Builders (TAB) Residential Contracts Package and receive industry-specific updates and resources.
Builder Member Dues:
Based on the number of units built in the previous calendar year:
- 0-10 Units: $775/year
- 11-40 Units: $1,025/year
- 41+ Units: $1,275/year
Developer
This membership caters to companies or individuals involved in land development and project management. Developer Members benefit from access to the TAB Residential Contracts Package and exclusive industry insights.
Developer Member Dues: Flat rate of $775/year.
Remodeler
This membership is for companies or individuals specializing in remodeling projects. Becoming a Remodeler Member provides access to valuable resources, industry-specific information, and opportunities for professional growth. As a Remodeler Member, you gain access to the Texas Association of Builders (TAB) Residential Contracts Package and receive industry-specific updates and resources.
Remodeler Member Dues: Flat rate of $775/year.
Associate/Supplier Member
Available to individuals, firms, or corporations involved in supporting industries or professions within any of the eight counties we serve.
Membership Dues: Flat rate of $670/year.
